Bucko Speen is a game I'm creating for MGG11!

[Enter] to Start, [Arrow Keys] move the character and [S] deploy the magical spinning Bucko.

You can also download the ROM to play on emulator or on the real Genesis/Megadrive hardware.

This game uses a very capable semi-custom sound driver.  I spent a lot of time on it but it means we can have a not so big cart with more digital samples/music. I really love how the YM2612 synth sounds but I love experimenting too!
I'm fixing the sound effects doing strange noises. Apart from that is pretty usable.

She is a super spoiled and beloved princess but for how long?

It's my fourth time participating in this JAM, and to celebrate, I'm making a Sega Genesis/Mega Drive game that runs on real hardware!

I'm drawing inspiration from the Vtuber Amiya Aranha in order to create the graphics and story.

While it's still a work in progress, the core mechanics are in place—I just need to refine and polish everything to bring my true vision to life. So I won't be changing what is there, just fixing stuff and make what is broken work. So yeah, a fair use of the evaluation time as per usual.
