PC-98 Color Space Parser

The PC-98 Color Space Parser is an Aseprite plugin designed to assist artists in creating images compatible with the NEC PC-9800 series. 

• One-Click Palette Conversion: Easily convert your current palette to the PC-98 color space with a single click.
• One tool: You just need this plugin to make a compatible image. No more external programs.
• Color Editor: Provides a tool to view and adjust alternate shades, aiding in achieving the correct color variations. (Note: Currently, you can view and modify shades, but setting them is not yet supported.)

Exporting Your Work:

To ensure compatibility with PC-98 systems, save your image in the .bmp format. You can then use MG98 to convert it to the .mag format suitable for PC-98.

Just a reminder. This plugin does not manipulates resolution or perform color quantization or reduce the total number of colors in your image if there's more than 16. There are already builtin tools for that on Aseprite. This is not the focus of this tool.

Important Note: The MG98 converter is designed to run exclusively on NEC PC-98 systems or DOS-based environments. If you're working on a modern computer, you can emulate the necessary environment using DOSBox
