Quality of life improvements


  • Precaching assets. It still loads async but some assets are being precachedd to help in loading sounds.
  • Small framerate improvements, just small changes in the code.
  • Changes in the way the intro and title cards work.
  • On-Screen controls works a lot better, no bug on hiding or showing it back
  • Pause button added. Simple but much needed. Works on mobile, on desktop by using ESC and on controllers by Start Button.

Works quite fine now. No multitouch but the game is really playable. The virtual D-pad moves the character and the virtual right arrows toggles your shot. Just briefly stop walking to toggle your shots up and down.

This time the controls are on-screen most of the time even on web but not in the desktop applications. It won't bother with text but it will be there on those intermediate screens. Just enable it after the splash screen. It will be automatically toggled as soon as needed. No multitouch support yet.
